Before working as a dancer and scholar at the Royeca School of Ballet, Carlo Padoga was a member and a scholar of the University of Mindanao Dance Troupe. Because of his discipline and talent in dance, he was then elevated into junior choreographer and rehearsal master.
He first started his formal ballet training at the age of 17 in Locsin’s Dance Workshop under Ms. Agnes Locsin. He also studied jazz and modern dance in that same year.
He was a member of Mulihok Dancemakers and Salvo Dance Company and attended the master class and choreography class of Myra Beltran of Airdance Company and Denisa Reyes of Ballet Philippines, pushing him to be a freelance dancer and choreographer while in Davao.
In 2011, he transferred to the Royeca School of Ballet in Davao City under the direction of Girlie S. Royeca to focus on ballet.Recognized for his passion and potential in the art, Mr. Padoga was then invited by Artistic Directors, Gregory Aaron and Nicolas Pacana, to teach and dance for Balletcenter Cebu in 2013.
